The ‘Eastwood
Collieries’ Male
Voice Choir’ is looking for a
new Principal Accompanist to commence
immediately (where possible).
The choir sings from
an extensive and varied repertoire
in order to develop our knowledge,
skills and techniques both for audiences
and the choir alike. In addition to
our singing we try to meet socially
once a year for an annual dinner or
other social evening to foster relations
between ourselves and our families.
The Eastwood Collieries’ Male
Voice Choir is now in its 90th Year
(with a tremendous record of achievements
and a proud and illustrious history – see
our website for further details – www.eastwoodcollieriesmvc.co.uk).
Each year we participate in a number
of concerts (usually between 10 – 20
per year) at various venues throughout
the local district and beyond.
Our ideal Principal
Accompanist will participate in exciting
and enjoyable rehearsals to a high
standard. He or she would play for
the choir for all concerts and rehearsal
sessions and ensure the continuing
success of the choir, inspiring confidence
and commitment from all singers. At
present we are fortunate to have the
services of a Principal Conductor,
Deputy Conductor, and a Deputy Accompanist
so you will be joining an already strong
and formidable team of first class
musical knowledge.
